Artistic approach

My artistic practice is inspired by what surrounds me on a daily basis. The series of assembled papers is the result of a selection of documents, reclaimed papers, photographs, etc., collected while emptying the family home. These raw materials caught my attention through their textures, their colors, their shapes, as well as the traces of a certain lived experience.

In an intuitive manner, I have, for the most part, painted and drawn on them, then assembled them by creating a dialogue between them. It is through the act of painting and manipulating these different supports that these assemblages come into being. I enjoy venturing into the unknown, being surprised by what takes shape.

The various interventions on each support are layered in successive strata. There is a desire, sometimes a duality, for them to come together despite their fragmentation, as if they were periods accumulating over time. The attachment by a paper clip or a clamp fixes the final cohabitation.
