Artistic approach

I trained as a graphic designer and then went on to become a screen printer, specialising in engraving techniques and printing on all media by setting up my own mobile studio utopykstudio in 2011. I've been a socio-cultural facilitator for almost 11 years in Genappe, Louvain la Neuve, sombreffe and Namur. I have also been a skin engraver since 2020 with "studio mémère" in Villers la ville. My common thread is a constant desire to maintain a connection with childhood and nature. I work in illustration and printmaking techniques on paper and textiles. Poetically, I highlight a moment in life, or current messages about women who have left their mark on time and fragile nature. I base my work on photographs I've found at flea markets, old illustrations or photos I've taken on my travels.
