My pieces speak of differences, wounds, bonds, lightness and protection. Balance, imbalance, stable and unstable, change and the passage of time. I wanted to make perceptible the ties that are made and unmade, that nourish and build us in a constantly repeated process. in a constantly repeated process. I use materials that are easy to manipulate: paper, wire, sewing thread, plaster, clay and various salvaged materials. Sewing, gluing, painting, knotting them in simple, repetitive gestures, to recreate infinite structures ad infinitum. My research becomes more dynamic when confronted with the singular architectural spaces that welcome it.
