Marc Louwers creates contemporary bookbindings, which he regularly presents in exhibitions. When the exhibition setting allows, he favors bindings featuring texts he has written himself. Marc Louwers has written several articles on the history of sound for the magazine "Echo bruit" published by the Centre d’Information et de Documentation sur le Bruit (CIDB) in France and for the journal of the Belgian association "Record Memory Club," of which he is a member. These texts eventually formed a history of sound in 100 dates, initially self-published in a limited edition of 50 numbered copies in 2023, and finally published by Éditions Deville in 2024. He wrote a summary of his professional activity in his "Post Scriptum" in 2025.
