Artistic approach

The clay form is constructed around emptiness, developed without a definitive answer, with all possible escape routes, it can be invented, become something else, in relation to time and space.

Firing will continue the work, a test that can lead to its destruction.

Each time, it is an uncertainty experienced as a challenge. The wait for the result takes place in a silence full of restraint and dreams.

Then comes the moment of surprise, doubt, acceptance of the unexpected. This randomness is so much a part of life in the studio.

Perhaps the work is rich in all of this.

For several years now, I have been exploring a technique of printing images, images that blend, overlap or juxtapose each other.

Each piece that comes out of the kiln renews the dream of what is yet to be done, of what is ready to be, to be born, to emerge from the clay.
